Smile Time A-3, After Classes
Ah yes, classes. Those things that, with no mother around to insist Francine go to them when she just wanted to hide under her pillow until she died, or at least got dragged out by the police, didn't get gone to.
An emergency junk food stash under the bed and a bathroom not all that far from your alcove is a dangerous thing.
The curtain was so, so shut.
[OOC: Expecting two, open to cabinmates if you like but whoa, emo girl.]

A MOON. A MOON WTF. WTF.Francine sighed and pulled her head out from under the pillow. "Of course."

WTF SRSLY.That was all the invitation Katchoo needed to duck in and squeeze her way into the alcove as close to Francine as she could get. "How've you been feeling?"

Kind of scary how easily that word came out.

Give it a second.
"He said that on the radio?"

She could have phrased that better.

Katchoo (and her increasingly soggy shoulder) reached up to stroke Francine's hair. "Not everybody listens to the radio, Francine. So not everybody knows, and it's still not the end of the world."

"If you get in trouble for this, I'll raise hell. You're not the one who should be in trouble; you're not the one who went in planning to screw with people."

Hers was, needless to say, far less generous.
"He took advantage of you, Francie. And Merlin. You don't get people to do something for you, knowing damn well they don't realize what they're doing, and get to get away without the blame."
no subject
"Oh, I know that." She did. "I just don't think he was purposely trying to be mean. He just wanted to have fun and doesn't give a crap if he hurts people."
no subject
"He hurt you." Katchoo said it like she was biting each word off and spitting it for distance. "Nobody should get away with that and not be sorry about it, ever."

"You didn't do anything wrong, sweetheart," she said in a quiet rasp. "None of this was your fault."
Hell if she knew whether Francine would believe it at all, but . . .
no subject
"I know," she kinda lied. She also kinda knew that as terrible things went, this wasn't up there with getting eaten by zombies, even if it had been her fault. It was just... one more thing, at the end of the day.
