Room 505: Tuesday Morning

A certain bunny might have spent Sunday night in a top hat, but after reassurance that the sudden fascination with Raven's tonsils had worn off and been none of said bunny's doing in the first place, Francine felt a little too guilty, and maybe a little too clingy, for that. So. Francine had fallen asleep last night with a wee baby bunny onna pillow. As you do.

Within reach for easy cuddling because she was SOFT AND CUTE AND FLUFFY.

[OOC: For the bunny! Up super early for slow 'I have to teach tomorrow morning sajdghsjdgh' play.]

"Why shouldn't you?" Katchoo could have been confused, but she knew Francine a little too well for that by now. "I started ignoring you for no reason over someone I never really gave a crap about before. If that's not grounds, hell if I know what is."

"It's an emotional thing, Francine. Don't go trying to drag logic into it," Katchoo said with the wry tone of someone who'd long since given up on trying to drag logic into it. Logic was a kicker, a biter, a hair-puller, and an eye-poker when being dragged like that. Because if you could drag logic into it, they wouldn't be sitting (or in her case lying down) here like this.

Katchoo didn't know what to say to that; she wasn't sure what could be said that wasn't going to come out anything but accusatory. There could have been a long internal monologue about feeling like she was spending her life living out of a suitcase and wondering when she could finally unpack.

"What's the hangup, Francie?" was what she finally opted for. "Or do you even know?"

Yeah, that probably would be the easier question, and Katchoo knew it.

"We could start with me getting dressed," Katchoo offered quietly. "To make things a little less awkward for you."

"I dunno. It'd be funny to see the look on Lacey's face," Katchoo mused.

"Yeah, okay, that would hurt." Katchoo sat up, keeping the blankets wrapped around her like on TV as she did. "Do you want to go for breakfast? Or stay here?"

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-05 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Katchoo couldn't help a slight grin at memories of a common room and French toast. "I like your French toast better."

"I was a bunny. I got embarrassing pictures taken of me." Katchoo turned on the pout just a little. What? She could do it sometimes. "Doesn't that warrant breakfast in bed?"

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-05 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
"Eh." Katchoo shrugged. "Bet the squirrels are gonna be all over that, though."

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-05 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
"Next time they say stuff about you, and it won't be me doing it," Katchoo said just a taaaaaaaaaaaaad vehemently, "I'll kick someone's ass."

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-05 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
Katchoo's stomach made a loud complaining noise as if on cue. And it wasn't like she couldn't pick up on the awkward, so she cleared her throat. "No grapes, okay? And no salad."

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-05 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
"Salad on French toast would be an abomination of the highest order, Francie," Katchoo said solemnly.

Damn. There went the view.
