Room 505: Tuesday Morning

A certain bunny might have spent Sunday night in a top hat, but after reassurance that the sudden fascination with Raven's tonsils had worn off and been none of said bunny's doing in the first place, Francine felt a little too guilty, and maybe a little too clingy, for that. So. Francine had fallen asleep last night with a wee baby bunny onna pillow. As you do.

Within reach for easy cuddling because she was SOFT AND CUTE AND FLUFFY.

[OOC: For the bunny! Up super early for slow 'I have to teach tomorrow morning sajdghsjdgh' play.]

Yeeeeeeeah, this was always how she'd wanted to end up clothes-free in Francine's bed.

Okay, so the flailing was cute, but. Sigh.

"I can get up," Katchoo offered. Yes. And then blankets would no longer have a flail-dampening effect.

Katchoo was starting to realize that her mouth tasted like cotton . . . possibly a cotton blend, but literally. Also figuratively, but mostly literally. She wasn't sure pillowcase counted toward your daily recommended fiber intake.

At least it was warm under the blankets, but she scooted away an inch or two just so maybe Francine would calm down.

"'s okay," she said, trying to keep the shrug casual.

Katchoo picked a piece of fuzz out of her teeth and grimaced. "You went to sleep with a bunny on your pillow. That's not what you woke up to and seriously, a rabbit? A RABBIT?"

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-03 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Katchoo was on a roll now. "HE TURNED ME INTO A RABBIT. AND YOU MADE ME SLEEP IN A HAT. AND I AM NOT ADORABLE."

Katchoo groaned and slid a little further under the covers. "I'm going to have to kill Arthur and Ino now, you realize this."

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-03 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
"I might throw something at him," came the slightly blanket-muffled voice. "He was just trying to look out for you. Because I was too busy trying to -- geez!"

And out popped Katchoo's head again, this time complete with thoroughly repentant facial expression. "Francie, I am so, so sorry."

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-04 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
"No," Katchoo allowed reluctantly. "But god, it's all so wrong."

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-04 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
"And I was ignoring you," Katchoo added guiltily. "Hell, I should have known something was wrong."

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-04 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh, God. I said that, didn't I?" Katchoo shot a glare toward the ceiling that would have burned a hole through it if she had the power to do so. "No. No, I don't."

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-04 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
"Sure," Katchoo conceded, rolling onto her side. "She's not the one I want to spend all my time looking at, though."

[identity profile] thismaskiwear.livejournal.com 2009-11-04 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
"You can look at me, you know." Katchoo should not be the one with the healthier approach here, people.

"Francine," Katchoo began, and sighed. "Stop sounding like you killed my cat, wil you?"
